Yes, Deckorators grooved-edge deck boards are designed to be used with StealthLock™ Universal Deck Clips. These fasteners fit snugly between the grooved edges, eliminating the need for pre-drilling, automatically spacing the deck boards for proper gap alignment, and allowing for quick and easy installation, all while maintaining a clean, fastener-free surface. If you prefer traditional fastening through the top but still want to hide the screw heads, the Pro Fastening Systems offer a simple and efficient solution for stairs, perimeter boards, or deck board replacements.
What is Deckorators Decking made of?

Our patented Surestone technology, featured in Deckorators mineral-based composite (MBC) decking, delivers the industry’s best strength-to-weight ratio with virtually no thermal expansion and contraction. This same technology is also used in our Picture Frame deck boards. Surestone is powerful, stable, moisture-resistant, and protected by a durable polymer cap stock that resists stains and fading.

Yes, Deckorators Decking is engineered with enhanced traction to offer superior slip resistance. The capped deck boards have undergone rigorous testing in wet conditions, adhering to the AS/NZS 4586-2013 standard, as verified by an independent third-party lab on September 24-25, 2018.
What’s the best way to clean a composite deck?

To maintain the appearance of your deck, regularly clear away leaves and debris that could cause staining. Sweep the deck boards and clean the gaps between them. For removing dirt or marks, a mixture of soap or detergent with water works well. If using a power washer, be sure to set it to the lowest pressure and use a fan-tip nozzle for safe cleaning.
