Yes, Deckorators grooved-edge deck boards are designed to be used with StealthLock™ Universal Deck Clips. These fasteners fit snugly between the grooved edges, eliminating the need for pre-drilling, automatically spacing the deck boards for proper gap alignment, and allowing for quick and easy installation, all while maintaining a clean, fastener-free surface. If you prefer traditional fastening through the top but still want to hide the screw heads, the Pro Fastening Systems offer a simple and efficient solution for stairs, perimeter boards, or deck board replacements.
Will Deckorators composite decking fade over time?
Deckorators Decking is designed with a fade- and stain-resistant cap stock, ensuring that the colour stays vibrant for years. It's also supported by a top-tier warranty, offering 25-year coverage for both structural integrity and stain and fade resistance.
What’s the best way to clean a composite deck?
To maintain the appearance of your deck, regularly clear away leaves and debris that could cause staining. Sweep the deck boards and clean the gaps between them. For removing dirt or marks, a mixture of soap or detergent with water works well. If using a power washer, be sure to set it to the lowest pressure and use a fan-tip nozzle for safe cleaning.
