- Pro Plug® System – A plug fastening system designed for composite decking. Screws are sold separately.
- Fascia Fastening System – Includes a fascia tool and specially designed colour-coated screws, available in stainless steel or epoxy-coated carbon steel, for secure fascia installation.
- Colour-Matched Screws – Epoxy-coated composite decking screws are specifically designed to complement any Deckorators Decking colour.
- For optimal results, we recommend pre-drilling with a 3/16" drill bit and filling with plugs shortly after inserting the screw to help prevent water, debris, or other materials from entering.

What type of fasteners and nails are recommended with Deckorators decking?
Major fastener manufacturers produce screws specifically designed for composite decking, which reduce the need for pre-drilling and countersinking. For ease of installation, 2½" corrosion-resistant composite wood deck screws are a great choice, as they help minimize the common “mushroom” effect caused by standard fasteners.
To secure deck boards invisibly, consider using Stowaway™ Hidden Deck Fasteners.
For Fastendry installations, broad-head stainless steel 2" nails are ideal.
If you prefer fastening through the top of the decking but still want a clean, fastener-free appearance, Pro Fastening Systems offer a fast and easy way to hide deck screw heads on stairs, perimeter boards, or when replacing a board.
